ZULU

A British preacher Jack Hawkins, learns that 1,200 British soldiers have been annihilated by Zulu warriors in the South African wilds of Botswana. He flees the Zulu encampment to warn a nearby garrison of British troops, commanded by Lieutenants John Chard Stanley Baker, and Gonville Bromhead Michael Caine, of an impending attack. The story unfolds in spectacular fashion as Zulu warriors arrive in their thousands. Based on the battle at Rorke’s drift, which took place, 22nd January 1879, Zulu depicts the valour of 105 British soldiers, who defied the odds in defence of their tiny African outpost.
