VIRUS

A military plane crashes and on board is a deadly Virus developed by the military. The virus spews from the wreckage, killing all humans except a group of scientists stationed in Antarctica. Learning of the disaster, the mission of the 855 men and 8 women, survivors of the worldwide disaster, is twofold: ensure the survival of the human race and save the planet from a thermonuclear holocaust, to be unleashed by automated American and Soviet war machines. There are memorable performances by Glenn Ford, Robert Vaughn, Masao Kusakari and Olivia Hussey, in this timeless tale of the risks inherent in military sponsorship of science.
