From a distant uncle, Stan inherits an old sail boat and an island somewhere in the South Seas. Ollie immediately assumes command of the expedition. Against all odds, the stumblebum sailors survive a harrowing voyage, and wash up as castaways on their private Utopia. After appointing himself President, Ollie drafts a constitution banning taxes, laws and passports. However, their idyllic existence is short lived when uranium is discovered on the island, and treasure seekers pour in from around the globe, bringing far more trouble than the local government can handle. Laurel and Hardy are at it again, in their inimitable style. Another fine mess, indeed!
