This sparkling comedy tells the hilarious tale of two poker buddies, Marvin and Harry, whose Thursday poker game ends abruptly, prompting the two of them to use Thursday’s Game as a pretext to get away from their failing marriages for a little fun; but tough times arrive when Harry is fired from a trashy game show and Marvin begins to fret about the significance of his business as a zipper tycoon. Stars Gene Wilder, Bob Newhart, Ellen Burstyn, Cloris Leachman and Rob Reiner. Very Funny! The script was written by James L. Brooks.
