THE

TELL-TALE HEART

Life changes for Edgar Marsh, a cultured but shy and reclusive bachelor in 19th Century Paris, when a beautiful young woman moves into the rooming house across the street. Encouraged by his best friend, Carl, he asks her out. She enjoys his company, and Edgar is soon hopelessly in love. Then she meets Carl, and the two find themselves irresistibly drawn to each other – as Edgar discovers one night when, through her window, he sees them making love. Driven by jealous rage, he exacts a violent revenge; later to be hounded to the brink of madness, by guilt. This is a harrowing adaptation of the Edgar Allen Poe classic.
