Four years ago, New York city cop Joey Gentry Cliff Gorman, and FBI agent Jerome Ripley Don Blakely, made their reputations by bringing down a major French heroin ring. Now, after two dead mobsters are discovered upstate, the unlikely heroes are teamed up with state trooper Walter Spencer Richard Gere, in a joint Strike Force. Their investigation soon leads them back to the French Connection case and the stunning discovery that the confiscated heroin is finding its way back onto the street. Under a cloud of suspicion, the trio struggle to solve the mystery.
