A gang of marauders, led by the infamous Duncan, massacres a band of innocent Navajo Indians, to collect a bounty on their scalps. When the local authorities refuse to pay for the ill-gotten trophies, the marauders murder them and proceed to terrorise the town. In desperation, the townspeople turn to a mysterious loner . . . he soon learns the marauders are conspiring with the banker to rob the town of half a million dollars. With the help of a troupe of saloon entertainers, he sets out to foil the robbery and wreak a terrible vengeance on the evildoers. Burt Reynolds stars in this tale of violent revenge.
