MOB STORY

On the run from a U.S. senate investigation, Mafia boss Don Luciano, John Vernon, disappears to Winnipeg, Manitoba, to look up a passionate old flame and their illegitimate son. His pleasure at being reunited with them is short lived. When a bomb blows up the Palm Beach apartment in which he was supposed to be hiding out, Don Luciano realises his right-hand man, Al Waxman - hoping to take over - has put out a contract on him. More than a few people are eager to fulfil it, including a local punk and his greedy mole, Margot Kidder. Don Luciano will need more than his wits and his nerve to survive, in this off-beat gangster comedy.
