With World War II finally over, General George S. Patton, Commander of the Third Army, is appointed Military Governor of Bavaria, but with no one left to fight, the General’s inability to keep his unorthodox and inflammatory opinions to himself soon precipitates The Last Days Of Patton. Transferred by General Eisenhower to a backwater command, ‘Old Blood and Guts’ decides to retire, but then a freak accident plunges him into his final battle.
