Her suitor persists, and while she awaits her train to Paris, she succumbs again to her lover’s charms. The couple are caught, in the throws of passion, in an empty rail car and arrested. She faces certain public shame and humiliation at trial, and the destruction of her marriage. Indiscretion Of An American Wife was filmed entirely on location in Rome’s cavernous Terminal Station.
