When Professor Alexander Saxton, Christopher Lee, comes upon a long frozen ‘missing link’ in northern Russia, he believes he’s made the greatest scientific discovery of his time. After carefully crating up the creature’s remains, he starts the long journey home on the Trans Siberian Express; but in the warmth of the baggage car, the unearthly creature thaws and comes back to life. It then goes on a murderous rampage. As the carnage and terror spreads, Saxton joins forces with a scientist, Peter Cushing, and a Cossack captain, Telly Savalas, in a desperate attempt to stop the supernatural monster.
