CAST A DARK SHADOW

When charming, young, Edward ‘Teddy’ Bare, Dirk Bogarde, finds his wealthy middle-aged wife consulting with her lawyer; he figures she intends to cut him out of her will, so he quickly arranges her ‘accidental’ death. Too quickly, it turns out; as she was planning to leave him everything except a big house he can’t afford to live in. He soon succeeds in snaring another wealthy widow; but his new bride, Margaret Lockwood, proves to be more of a match than he bargained for.
