The nuns, led by Sister Benedict, believe the school must be saved, but the chairman of the town council insists it should be condemned. Bing Crosby is delightfully down-to-earth and Ingrid Bergman has never been more radiant. They test each other’s patience, poise and values, on their way to an abiding friendship.
